Welcome to SeaClan, the clan of the sea.

The small crab scuttled across the sandy shoreline then a tiny brown body shot out from behind a rock and caught the crab in its jaws.

"Yay!" Sealkit squeaked and held up her catch.

Starflower felt her whiskers twtich with amusement as Cloudkit rolled around in the sand, dirtying his pure white fur, and Sealkit laughed at the crab in her jaws. "Be careful," she told her daughter, "It'll nip your nose!"

Starflower giggled, picked up the crap in her jaw and with one bite, crushed the creature. She dropped it onto the sand and with her claw, pryed the shell off. "See all that white meat? That is very yummy. It isn't much, but you can eat it." Cloudkit gasped, jumping over to the crab. "Can I have some!?" Starflower shrugged. "Only if Sealkit says so. She caught it!"

Cloudkit licked Sealkits ear swifly (in a cute, kit way), but going slightly over the top and wiping his whole tongue over her face. "thank you Sealkit!" He said, sniffing the crab before taking a morsel of the meat in his jaws.

Cloudkit licked his lips. "Sealkit, have you lost your tongue? It's yummy!" He said, misunderstanding what Sealkit meant by ew. Starflower laughed. "I think, my dear Cloudkit, Sealkit has a little bit too much tongue, and not enough Crab."

Cloudkit gasped as a flock of gulls erupted into the slowly darkening sky. Less than a heartbeat afterwards, the ground started to shake, shifting the sand underneath him, pulling him down the bank toward to sea. "Mummy!" He cried, scarmbling, only to tumble and fall, his tail barely inches from the shoreline.

Starflower felt her hackles rise. "Kits!" She bellowed, racing after them, barely keeping herself on her feet. Sealkit was the closest, so she clamped her teeth around her scruff and heaved her onto the bank, basically throwing her. The shiver finally slowed down, and all she had to do was go and get Cloudkit. Just as she went up to the shoreline, she saw the water being sucked from the edge. She gasped. When that happened, it could only mean one thing: a very big wave. "Cloudkit!" She screeched, but it was too late. The wave hit and when she was only a mouse-length from grasping her kit, they were both flung out into the ocean. He can't swim! she thought, her heart filling with terror and pain. StarClan, save him!

Dolphinshine was still shaking even when the ground had stopped. She had dropped the oysters she had bundled in seaweed and they had scattered onto the ground. She was speechless, for that was the strangest thing that had ever happened to the earth in a long time. But then she heard it. A tiny yowl and then the huge crash of a wave- much bigger than normal waves, and the cries of another cat- her sister. "Starflower!" she called, rushing toward the shore.

Silversand felt the shaking stop and left go of the rock she clambered onto as it started. She tried to calm down but it looked like the sea had moved back. She raced to the wet sand. The water had definetely moved back.
Is the water scared of the shaking?
She looked out as far as she could see and the water was rushing back.
Thank StarClan she thought for a moment but then realised the water was heading straight for her. She fled up the beach and up the sand dune just as the water crashed over the beach.
What's happening?

Sunpaw was lazing on the beach when the water fled. At first she didn't notice, but soon she realized the waves were no longer lapping at her fur. Her eyes flashed open and she glanced around. Then she spotted the water coming back in a huge wave. She scrambled up the shore to safety, nearby she saw Silversand doing the same thing.

Then she heard a yowl of fright and a squealing voice call:
"Starflower! Cloudkit!"

She hared of towards the source of the sound. Her mother was in danger!

When she arrived she saw Sealkit safely on the beach, crying out to the crashing waves. She could just see two white heads struggling to stay above the water.
